A 911 call reported an incident at the home of Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie.
A 7-year-old boy was found unconscious in the bath of his Rosemont home, In critical condition—La Petite Patelier Ward.
Someone called his 911 shortly after 6:00 pm from his house in Rue de Chambord. Monday to report the incident. First responders who arrived at the scene found the child unresponsive in the bath, according to Montreal Police spokesperson Jean-Pierre Brabant.
"They performed CPR on the child on the way to the hospital and the child had a pulse upon arrival." Officers were dispatched to the scene.
"My first impression is that it's not," said Brabant. "It seems like an accident, but we have to find out the cause (child lost consciousness). Did they fall asleep? Did they lose consciousness? It's their turn for a medical check-up. But regarding the SPVM As far as this incident is concerned, there is no criminal element."
