LaSalle residents charged with attempted murder last week , was ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation before his case returned to a Montreal court.

Defense attorneys ruled that a preliminary mental health evaluation conducted in court on Tuesday could lead to criminal charges being filed against the defense. He underwent a 30-day evaluation at the Institute and requested to return to court on September 15.
Attempted murder charges include attacking pedestrians near Paul He Seguin Park on June 4 around 9:30 pm. The victim was stabbed in the neck.
Last week, Waxman said Webster was charged with attempted murder, and he was informed that he was also being investigated as a suspect in two stabbings. He was also told that the attack appeared to have no motive.
Montreal police released a statement on Monday confirming that Webster is being investigated for his two other stabbings.
In one case, at about 1:15 am on May 31, 2022, a man left the gym and was waiting for a bus at Bishop His Power His Boulevard near George Street. . He questions him and stabs him before fleeing on foot.
In another case, on July 7, 2022, at approximately 10:30 pm, a man sitting on a bench in Ouellet Park approached him from behind and stabbed him in the neck. The victim tried to flee, but was stabbed again in his back. Again, the suspect fled on foot.
