A St-Léonard high school was under lockdown Tuesday afternoon after a threat was uttered by someone who may be a student there.
The incident began at 1:30 p.m. when a person believed to be a student made a threat toward Laurier Macdonald High School, said Caroline Chèvrefils, a Montreal police spokesperson.

The school is on Viau Blvd. near Jean Talon Blvd. in St-Léonard.
As of 2:45 p.m., students and personnel were inside the school while police officers checked the interior and exterior of the building, Chèvrefils said.
