There’s one haircut that will never go out of style, and that is the bob. It’s a classic and timeless shape for a reason. It’s both chic and shorty and is definitely attention grabbing. It can be cut into many different variations, and what you choose is completely dependent on your hair type, texture and comfort level.

My client has extremely thick, course and naturally wavy hair and was in need of a refresh. Her hair was feeling bushy, thick and hard to manage, and she was seeking a shorter, sleeker style that would suit her face shape and hair texture.
The process:
I started by cleansing her hair with Oribe – Shampoo and Conditioner for Moisture and Control. I then applied the Oribe – Hair Priming Lotion Leave-In Conditioning Detangler; a primer that preps and conditions curly, wavy and coily hair. I cut her hair into a diagonal forward graduated bob, which is a great option to help distribute the weight of thick heavy hair and create a sleek and chic angular silhouette.
The final look:
Before styling, I worked a quarter-size amount of Oribe – Straight Away Smoothing Blowout Cream to smooth the hair, control frizz and to transform a dry and unruly style into into a smooth, silky and long-lasting style.
