The paper, citing an unnamed source, said the firearm had a loading clip and could fire more bullets than the standard version of the weapon.The same source said Sheikh. The method purportedly used to assemble the firearm was done by ordering parts from various vendors and is legal in Canada.

Sheikh was killed at a motel in the St. rice field.

His 64-year-old André Lemieux, a Saint-Laurent resident, was shot while inside a bus stop near his apartment on Boulevard Jules Poitras.

Approximately an hour later at 10:50 p.m., Mohamed Salah, 48, father of two young children, announced that his Belhaj, 48, had reached Ahansik in his Cartier building. He was murdered near his home in Ward. he goes to the hospital.

On Wednesday, construction worker Alexis Lévis-Crevier, 22, was shot dead in his Laval.

Shortly after Sheikh was killed Thursday morning, the Quebec Chief of Staff said he was a suspect in all three of his killings and that the victims were randomly selected. . SQ also said Sheikh was known to police due to his mental health problems.

According to two of his decisions made by the Commission d'examen des troubles mentaux, Sheikh had been diagnosed with schizophrenia. In 2018, he was found not to be criminally responsible for his actions in a case where he was charged with mischief. A judge ordered him to remain in the care of his parents while he received treatment. Concern about the health of the Sheikh requested that she be admitted to a mental health facility. In January 2021, the Commission d'examen des troubles mentaux decided Sheikh would live outside the facility. The Administrative Court reconsidered its decision in March this year, despite a psychiatrist informing his panel of three experts that the Sheikh represented a "serious risk" to public safety. and allowed him to continue living outside the facility.

On Saturday, Nathalie Bourque, interim president of the Syndicat des travailleuses et des travailleurs du CISSS de Laval-CSN, her Montreal Gazette, said sheikh threatened employees of Laval's Cite de La Santé hospital. said. She was being treated there for his mental health issues. She said she believed the threats were made before January 2021.

But Mr Sheikh was different. It was very repetitive. (The threats) were made for several days and all day," Burke said. "He told one employee, 'I found your (Facebook) account. I found your address and I'm going to kill you. I have. All I'm missing is your address." The union president explained that the police officer who took the call was alleged to be a "veiled threat." It refused to accept the complaint. She also said hospital management agreed to move the employee to another part of the facility.

"Employees were so scared. They had to change her name on her Facebook page," she says. "I'm no expert, but it's clear that I've faced someone in distress. You don't have to be an expert to be sure something wasn't detected somewhere. He said, well They were not getting the custody they needed.”

After a series of incidents at Trudeau and Mirabel airports, a hoax case in a Montreal court in July 2018 turned against Sheikh. raised.

On July 19, 2018, Sheikh set his passport on fire while outside near the entrance to Trudeau Airport. According to a summary of his case included in the court's decision, he was described as incoherent and said people would notice the next time he was at an airport. }

The next day, he entered the airport's waste depot, appearing to check the door leading to the controlled area. When security approached him, he claimed to be an airport employee and walked away. As he walked away, security ordered him out of the airport.

Two days later at 5:30 am, Sheikh was arrested by another airport security officer after being found inside the terminal. He claimed that Air He was traveling to Italy on a Canadian flight. He was expelled from the airport again because he did not present his ticket and did not know when the plane would depart.

Later that day, airport security was informed that Sheikh had returned, but he was found this time in a restricted area. He was handcuffed and searched for security reasons. When he failed to issue his boarding pass, he was ticketed and deported again. When he returned ten minutes later, he was again intercepted and arrested.
