Nathan Rourke and B.C. Lions will get to know the Calgary Stampeders in the coming weeks.
BC (6-1) will visit Calgary (5-2) on Saturday night for the first of his three meetings between conference rivals. The Lions will return to McMahon Stadium on his Sept. 17 and both teams will face off in his BC state. Place Stadium on September 24th.
The Lions are in the middle of a stretch of playing seven of his eight games against West Division rivals. They already have wins over Saskatchewan (32-17 on July 29) and Edmonton (46-14 on Saturday), and on August 19 and he will face the Riders in the Home and Home Series on August 26. It's a schedule.
Six of Calgary's next seven regular season contests are also within the West Division, including the annual Home and Home Labor Day series with Edmonton. The Stampeders will also face his No. 1 Winnipeg (9-0) on August 25th. Against Edmonton, he completed 34 of 37 passes for 477 yards and 5 TD passes. The 477 yards was a Canadian single game record, and the 91.2% completion mark was also the CFL mark.
He also ran for 25 yards and he TDs five times.

Dominic Rimes With nine catches for 91 yards and three touchdowns against Edmonton, Lucky Whitehead had six receptions for 148 yards and a touchdown.
Rourke currently leads his CFL in passing (2,418 yards), TDs (21) and completion percentage (81.3%). The Lions also lead in offensive points (35.7), offensive TDs (31), net yards (447.9), passing yards (349.4), rushing TDs (10) and sacks allowed (7) per game.

BC Also sports a top defense against passes (224.6 yards per game) and runs (75.3 yards), capable of league-lowest 279.3 net offensive yards per game to The Lions are also second with the fewest surrendered attack points (18.4).

Calgary beat defensively-backed Ottawa, where he won 17-3. Defensive back Titus Wall made his two interceptions and returned his 46 yards to the TD to give the Stamps their first win in three games.
Veteran starter Bohe Levi Mitchell passed 13/27 for 137 yards and one interception. Mitchell is his double of the CFL's outstanding players, two-time Gray Cup he is champion, and just over Henry Burris (32,191) as the franchise's all-time pass leader. Only need 6 yards.
Dedrick Mills is Calgary, where he has 100 yards on 16 carries, boasting the highest rushing offense in the CFL (114.4 yards per game, averaging 5.6 yards per carry). Mills started ahead of injured incumbent Kadeem Carey, the league's second-leading rusher with 471 yards (a stellar 6.5 yards average).
Carey missed Tuesday's practice due to a hamstring injury.
Calgary also lacked head coach Dave Dickenson (COVID-19 protocol). Special His team's coordinator, Mark Killam, was head coach against Ottawa, but Dickenson will be back against his BC.
One of his many interesting matchups in this contest is his B.C. The CFL-leading offense, which recorded his 16 completions of 30-plus yards, faces a Calgary defense that allowed six of his 30-plus-yard completions of a league-low. Unfortunately for the Stampeders, veteran defensive back Torero Burson (who has season-ending knee surgery) will be out.
