I have no idea why they kept showing that footage of Tua Tagovailoa in the ‘fencing’ response after getting knocked out. Whoever was directing the game last night needed to stop. Hopefully Tua is alright, especially after the concussion protocol conspiracy of Week 3.

Minnesota -3 over New Orleans in London

With the trio of Jameis Winston, Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas all ailing, the Saints might be in tough to put up points against even the underwhelming Vikings defence. Dalvin Cook is also questionable, but should play through his shoulder injury.

INDIANAPOLIS -3.5 over Tennessee

While the Colts have their issues and Matt Ryan isn’t exactly who they wanted him to be yet, they’re still better off than the declining Titans. At this point, we’re backing Jonathan Taylor over Derrick Henry to charge up the offence.

Chicago +3 over NEW YORK GIANTS

It wouldn’t be a surprise if both teams run the ball more than they pass it in this one. Considering the Giants haven’t won by more than three points since Week 12 of last year, we’ll take the incredibly underwhelming Justin Fields and the Bears along with the points.

Buffalo -3 over BALTIMORE

As amazing as Lamar Jackson has been this season, the team around him has flaws. The defence isn’t up to usual Baltimore standards and their running backs have been below average. Buffalo’s secondary has been hit hard by injuries, but should be able to get by.

HOUSTON +5 over L.A. Chargers

Injuries are catching up to the Chargers, big time. It’s going to take some time to adapt to all of the key losses they’ve suffered. The Texans have played all of their games close so far and Dameon Pierce has the making of a star.

DETROIT -4.5 over Seattle

After their emotional Week 1 win, the Seahawks have failed to impress. The Lions are ascending thanks to some great line play and D’Andre Swift’s injury isn’t too much of a setback when Jamaal Williams is running well and Amon-Ra St. Brown’s ankle injury doesn’t seem serious to fade them.

PITTSBURGH -3.5 over New York Jets

Zach Wilson is back from a pre-season knee injury and that’s all we need to fade the Jets. Until we see something from last year’s second-overall pick, it’s too hard to wager on him, even against a flawed Jets team.

Jacksonville +6.5 over PHILADELPHIA

Is this a Super Bowl preview? OK, probably not, but it’s not crazy to think about it. The Eagles have been on  a roll behind Jalen Hurts and a solid defence, while the Jags can say the same about Trevor Lawrence and their own unit. Spotting more than a TD seems dicey, though it’s not out of the realm of possibility.

Washington +3.5 over DALLAS

We can’t ride the Cooper Rush train forever and spotting more than a field goal with him is a bit too dicey for us. The Cowboys defence will certainly put Carson Wentz under pressure, but will that be enough?

Cleveland -1.5 over ATLANTA

The Browns feel like they’re being undervalued here against the Falcons team that has been fairly fortunate so far. Cleveland’s running game remains top notch and shouldn’t be slowed down here.

Arizona +1.5 over CAROLINA

Normally, we’d steer clear of the Cardinals – who seem like a disaster team this year – but Christian McCaffrey’s quad injury is a big cause for concern. If he can’t play, that wipes out most Carolina’s offensive potential.

Denver +2.5 over LAS VEGAS

The alarm bells are ringing – both for the winless Raiders and for Russell Wilson. Which team will finally see their big off-season additions come through? The Broncos defence gives them the leg up on this one, especially if the hosts insist on neutralizing Davante Adams on their own.

New England +9.5 over GREEN BAY

Hot take: Are the Pats really that worse off with Brian Hoyer starting over Mac Jones? It might not be as bad as you think, considering how turnover-prone Jones has been. The Packers have their issues on offence enough that it’s questionable to spot almost 10 points.

TAMPA BAY +2 over Kansas City

It’s still questionable that the game will be played in Tampa due to Hurricane Ian, but that remains to be seen. The Bucs defence has been great and should do well to slow down a Chiefs team that still has its flaws. Getting Mike Evans back from suspension and the likely return of Chris Godwin helps bolster Tom Brady’s attack, too.

  1. NFL WEEK 4 PICKS: Josh Allen is drooling, (Gary) Cooper Rush is winning and Tom Brady is going places he's rarely been before

  2. KRYK: Thirty Thirties on Thursday — Week 4 edition

SAN FRANCISCO -2.5 over L.A. Rams

Jimmy G’s return to the starting role didn’t go so smoothly last week, but there is a number to watch: The 49ers with Garoppolo are 9-1 after a loss. The Niners have also won the past six regular-season matchups between the NFC West rivals.

Last week: 8-8

This season: 23-25
