The pooch was in the driver’s seat of a truck when the vehicle hit two others n a Walmart parking lot, according to reports.
The owner of one of the cars that was hit was stunned to see who was driving, according to WREG.
Police discovered that the dog was sitting in the unoccupied truck waiting for its owners, who were inside the store. Police said the dog set the truck in motion after it “apparently got a little antsy and bounced around” inside the cab.
Police said the steering column had previous damage which allowed the dog to put it into drive. Somehow the dog’s leash got caught on the emergency brake, releasing it, according to WREG.
“It doesn’t sound feasible, but an eyewitness saw the pooch behind the wheel just before the crash,” said the Kilgore Police Department. “He certainly has a guilty look on his face.”
No one, including the dog, was hurt.

A 72-year-old woman in Germany has been booked after she allegedly twice turned off a ventilator required by the other person in the hospital room the two shared.
The woman — charged with attempted manslaughter last month — apparently said she was annoyed by the sound it made, according to authorities.

Police and prosecutors said the suspect allegedly switched off a woman’s ventilator and then, despite staff telling her the machine was vital for the patient, switched it off again later in the evening, according to the Guardian.
The 79-year-old who needed the oxygen survived the ordeal, although she required treatment in the intensive care department.

THAT’S NOT WHERE IT GOES
An elderly man who ended up in hospital with a beer bottle up his rectum, says he was tortured by criminals during a break-in.
The man went to hospital in Palo Negro, Venezuela, alleging three thugs broke into his house and shoved a bottle up his posterior.
He said they were mad he didn’t have anything valuable to steal, so they punished him with the bottle, according to the Daily Mail.
The man underwent emergency surgery after X-rays confirmed the bottle was in his rectum.
THE PERFECT TARGET
Thieves in Nebraska found the perfect target to carry out a robbery.
Three men in Grand Island stole more than $4,000 from a cash register and an office desk at a liquor store, according to NebraskaTV.
How did they pull it off without a single shot being fired? The masked suspects allegedly took advantage of the fact that an employee inside was busy gambling and didn’t notice.
“The single employee was playing the Bankshot machine and was not behind the registers,” Capt. Jim Duering said. “So they didn’t really point it at him. They just went past him, went to the register, opened it up and took the money.”
Police said they had not caught the suspects. No word on if the employee still has his job.
