Toronto Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man after a woman was assaulted, and other women were approached Monday in Scarborough.
Police responded to a call for an assault at about 4 p.m. in the Port Union Rd.-Lawrence Ave. E. area. A woman was jogging when a man approached her from behind, assaulted her and then headed to Rouge Hill Station and boarded a westbound train, according to officers.

Police said other women in the Lawrence-Starspray Blvd. area were approached at about the same time by a man, who ran toward them and attempted to engage them in conversation.

Police released images of a male described as being in his late 20s with dreadlocks and large lower lip. He was wearing a black-and-red hooded sweatshirt with “Friday the 13th” and an image of Jason Voorhees on it, black pants, Ewing runners and black sunglasses.
