Russia aims to produce 80-120 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) annually by 2035, Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov said Wednesday.
Russia had previously announced plans to produce 140 million tonnes a year, but energy officials have since suggested that the 2035 target date may need to be changed. .
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said Wednesday that the government will allocate his 1 billion rubles ($16.65 million) to help develop his LNG facility.
