According to BetOnline.ag, the Seattle Kraken forward has the best odds (5/2) of winning the Calder Trophy. Much of that is based on the fact that Beniers leads rookies with 10 goals and 21 points for the second-best team in the Western Conference.

The next-highest rookie scorers are Arizona’s Matias Maccelli, who only has two goals to go along with his 16 points, and Winnipeg’s Cole Perfetti, who has four goals and 16 points.
But when it comes to deciding the top rookie, you might have to look beyond goals and points and instead start focusing on saves.
Vegas Golden Knights goalie Logan Thompson is 12-5-0 this season with a 2.27 goals-against average and a .931 save percentage. That explains why the 25-year-old has 15/4 odds of winning the Calder Trophy, which is better than Perfetti’s (8/1) and Maccelli’s (11/1) odds.
