More than two years have passed since the outbreak of the

COVID-19pandemic, and most Canadians have returned to pre-pandemic working conditions, but employees. 1 in 10 of them work at. Thelifestyle has taken root from home.

This is the latest from's new Ipsos poll, which found that three-quarters of Canadian workers have returned to their original workplaces.

"Most of us are back in the pre-COVID routine," Ipsos CEO Darrell Bricker said in an interview with Global News.

"It's not completely normal, but it looks pretty close to what it was before the pandemic."

Remote How Work Divides Canadians – June 12, 2022

Canadians have several reasons to return to the office, but most of the time they do. Because it wasn't. You have a choice.

More than half (58%) of the people surveyed told Ipsos that they couldn't work remotely. Another 23% said they were not given the option to continue working from home.

However, some respondents wanted to return to the office. According to a survey, 15% of workers actually feel that they are more productive in the workplace and prefer to work directly.

Only 12% wanted to meet a colleague, but 7% wanted to separate work and family. An additional 4 percent wanted to escape from their family.

"The other people we interviewed basically said," Look, I missed the office. I miss my colleague. I don't think it's as productive as working at home. I feel like I'm lacking the work environment I knew before, so I'll be back, "Bricker said.

However, 12% of polls continue to work completely at home, even though they worked in the office before the pandemic. An additional 8% told Ipsos that they spend a few days in the office and other days at home, adopting a hybrid model. They said this was not their norm before the pandemic.

"It's like removing a day from all the economic activity that was taking place downtown as a result of this adjustment at work," he explained.

"And if that happens, it will raise some serious problems ... so that we can deal with the level of the working population we used (for) in the city center. Because it has a service built by the department. "
