Meowfest

Meet BenBen, New Westminster's famous cat. I have more Instagram followers than you. Other social media influencers include @catsofinstagram ambassadors Bing Clawsby and Paw McCartney. The performance stage will feature demonstrations of how to clean a cat's teeth, play with a cat, save a cat, and more. His one-day event also features a cat costume contest and the chance to meet and speed-date other cat lovers.
Phoebe Bridgers
Date: Saturday 20th August and Sunday 21st August.
Location: Orpheum Theatre, 884 Granville St. , Vancouver.

LA singer/songwriter following the release of her June 2020 album Punisher, Pandemic gained fame in the meantime. Her album's melancholic folk and subsequent Bridger performances led some to call her "the patron saint of grief". According to a recent Manchester review of her concert, Bridger's songwriting is often praised, but her vocals are as accomplished as they are, and her trumpeter J.J. adding sturdiness. Her most recent releases are Carpenters' cover of her 1972 hit, Minions' "Goodbye to Love": The Rise of Gru soundtrack, and her single "Sidelines."
Summerlight Festival

Light Organ Records is hosting the Summerlight Festival to celebrate her 10th anniversary of her local label. Zolas, the first band to sign to the label, made headlines. Other acts include Desirée Dawson, winner of SXSW's Best Music Video of 2022 for "Meet You at the Light," dwi, IAMTHELIVING, Jenny Banai, Johnny Payne, Sleepy Gonzales, The Jins, and surprise band TBA. It is included.
Michael Bernard Fitzgerald
Date: Tue Aug 26 23rd 9pm At
Where: Location TBD, Squamish.

Here comes the Calgary-based singer-songwriter after the pandemic forced Michael Bernard Fitzgerald to rethink his tour. Up with a new model. On his farm tour, he sets up a tent on the farm and reveals the location to ticket purchasers on the day of the show. His latest tour of the farm is his b. C. end with . Performances in Kelowna (August 18), Vancouver (August 19), Whistler (August 24) and Victoria (August 26). As of this writing, most of the shows are on the waiting list, but tickets were still available for his set of Squamish. Fitzgerald will also release his Love Valley Rearranged (Deluxe) on August 17th. The record is reimagined with lead vocals by female artists such as Ashley Ball of Hey Ocean, Jacelyn Brown of Sade the Whale and Hannah Epperson, his fifth album, 2020's Featuring tracks from Love Valley.

Mercy Mercy Me, an art exhibition focused on climate change, features works by Bettina Matskoon, Brian Howell, David Ellinsen, Jean McRae, Christine Mann and Marcus Bowcott. According to a media release, Mercy Mercy Me “examines the strategies and images contemporary artists are developing, asks how artists are responding meaningfully to climate change, and explores issues to raise awareness and shape opinion.
