Trinity Shadd-Ceres is one of Canada's top young track and field athletes and perhaps one of Ontario's busiest Canadian Summer Games. I'm a person.

Shadd-Ceres won three gold medals in June's OFSAA (Ontario High School) debut, winning the 100m, 200m and long jump.
She competed in the long jump, 100m and 4x100 relay at the Canadian Games in the Niagara region of southern Ontario, with track and field being one of her highlights from Week 2. is.
Shadd-Ceres initially hoped to play volleyball at the Olympics, but she decided to play volleyball at the recent U20 World Championships in Cali, Colombia. , chose to focus on athletics this summer. She was eventually told that she was too young for the team.
Her personal best in the 6.35-meter long jump at her Canadian Games trials in Ontario would have placed her fifth at the U20 World Championships.

Despite her great results on the track, Shadd-Ceres said her heart really lies in volleyball.
"This is a team she's sporting," she said. “I have to do my part, but I think the pressure is less. When I fail in volleyball, I blame myself, but not all the pressure is on me.”

Shadd-Ceres grew up in a family of athletes. Her mother Krystal Her Shad was an NCAA athlete, her two sports were track and volleyball, specializing in the triple jump. Her uncle Kennen Shad was also an NCAA triple jumper.
"My mom is actually very supportive. She doesn't care what sport I do. She just wants me to be happy," says Shad. Celes said.
She is definitely happy to be able to compete in both sports again after her two-year lockdown and cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Her Shadd-Ceres, who started playing both track and volleyball when she was 10, said she spent some of her lockdown training at her gym in her family's small home.
``My mother was a professional athlete, so she knew what she was doing when it came to training, so I trained with her. We were practicing passing and hitting.The truck was practicing on the field when we were actually allowed to practice.

Age eligibility for Canadian Games varies by sport, but in Athletics must be under the age of 25 as of December 31, 2022. Athletes are eligible to participate in senior national team and world championships.
