ARSENAL boss Mikel Arteta is have doubts over signing Leicester ace Youri Tielemans according to reports.

Tielemans, 25, has been a long-term target for the Gunners but it is now being claimed that Arteta could look elsewhere instead despite the Belgian's reported interest of making the switch.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have reportedly made 'contact' with Ajax star Mohammed Kudus who has been in sensational form in at the World Cup.

But the Gunners could face competition with the likes of Liverpool, Tottenham and Newcastle who are all said to be admirers of the Ghanaian ace.

And Arsenal Sporting Director Edu is Edu Gaspar is pushing for the Gunners to sign AC Milan ace Hakan Calhanoglu.

    Football legend Pele is in a “stable condition” and has “full control of vital functions” after being taken to hospital yesterday.

    Reports from Brazil say that Pele is stable and does not need to be submitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo.

    A note from the hospital released to the Brazilian press said: “After medical evaluation, the patient was taken to a common room, without the need for hospitalisation in a semi-intensive unit or ICU.

    “The former player has full control of vital functions and stable clinical condition.”

    Saliba told beIN SPORTS: “It definitely wasn’t an easy game today.

    “The team was changed, there were a lot of players who had never played together, so it was a bit difficult.

    “It was a bit better in the second half at the start, but then we conceded that goal. We were pushing at the end to try and score but unfortunately it wasn’t enough.

    “I wouldn’t say there was a sense of fear, but we were shaken up a bit at the start of the match. But there were players who weren’t in their usual position, so they weren’t used to it.”

    Ex-Arsenal chief Sven Mislintat is in the running to become the new sporting director at Liverpool, according to reports.

    Ex-Arsenal chief Sven Mislintat is in the running to become the new sporting director at Liverpool, according to reports.

    Another tweeted: “Gutted Ben White has had to be withdraw from the England squad hope all is well with him.”
