Cumnock boss Brian McGinty demands better table toppers

Brian McGinty slammed his Cumnock table topper for poor performance and urged him to do better, writes Mike Wilson.

The Premier League's only 100% team head to Hurlford on Saturday, despite his 2-0 victory over Cambuslang. The director's harsh words ring in their ears.

McGinty felt the champ's victory over Darvel on day one was a chalk and cheese performance.

Jordan Moore's late double caught up to Knock's perfect start, but McGinty lapped: It was a really, really bad performance below last week's high.

"We didn't handle the ball very well, we were too slack. Everything was 100 mph and we were restless. It was really bad in the first half, we got a little better in the second half, but

"At the beginning of the season, I said that there were games that I didn't play well and that I needed to find a way to win. 15}

"When you have a player like Jordan on your team, the game takes away from Cambuslang. I think his finish was great.

"Good against Beath. We need to do better against Hurlford, who have done well, but they won so I won't be too hard on them, that's all."

● AUCHINLECK boss Tommy Sloan insists it's not all pessimism after a 3-0 home loss to Darvel. And he will help the team get back on its feet on Saturday at Cambusrang.

After Talbot dismissed Gareth his Armstrong in a reckless challenge, Darvel entered halftime through Daryl his Megat and Alan McKenzie. Graham Wilson saved the penalty before Andrew Sterling closed it out.

Sloan admits: Defend the corner where you can't win the game.

"But I'm still taking positives from it. We've had a lot of good effort coming from certain individuals, but we need it from the whole team. They dug in and stuck with it, it's It's not all about doom and gloom.”

● Glenafton has joined former Air United youngster Dylan O'Kane after the attacking midfielder appeared as a trialist in the 1-0 win over Arthur Lee. I made a contract.

A great play by Jamie McKernon set up Hugh Carr to grab the winner and send it to Pollock with a heart on Saturday.

TROON welcome Clydebank to Portland Park

Gavin Miller and Thomas Collins' buffed goals were canceled out by Jaime his Gallagher and Sam McCloskey to break 2-2 . Moore scored the sublime winner with 12 minutes remaining after a good play by Kyle Gilroy.

● WHITLETTS is looking for a third straight win as he entertains his Gartcairn in the First Division.

The league-leading team beat Blantyre 2-1 with first-half goals from Dean McColm (penalty) and Jordan Baird. Sam Mackenzie gave the hosts his one back, but the Vicks got his first win over Blantyre on his ninth attempt.

●MAYBOLE got off to a perfect start with a clean sheet as he headed to Ashfield in the Second Division after beating Maryhill 1-0. Stevie McClelland linked well with Craig Harvey for the lone goal, but boss Carlo Walker argued:

After his 3–2 win over Glasgow his United through goals from Ali Boyle, Ryan Connery and Jordan Banks, Craigmark traveled to Yorker and scored 6 of 6.

MUIRKIRK needs to bounce back after he lost 7-1 at home to Ashfield at Glasgow United.

Irvine He bounced back from a mid-week loss in which he lost 3-0 to the Vicks. Beating by -2, in the third division he entertained LUGAR. Goals were scored by Thomas Donovan, Jordan Bruce (penalty) and Andrew Carr.

Mitchell Ewing's double gave Luger his 2–1 victory over Larkhall, and he scored four in two games.
