Deliveroo is embroiled in a legal battle with a UK-based cannabis dealer called Dispenseroo.
The food delivery company believes its trademark might be being infringed by the illegal weed business that has also mimicked the Deliveroo logo in its unauthorised adverts on London's tube trains.
It is believed that Dispenseroo rakes in as much as £50,000 a week, which includes profits from selling and delivering cannabis as well as food and drink that contains marijuana.

Instagram influencers have been encouraged to promote the Dispenseroo brand, while vapes can also be bought from the company that began selling cannabis in August.
The unlawful firm's profile in London was further raised in October when its website was publicised on a Wembley shopping mall's digital billboards.
Dispenseroo is now being told, however, that their domain name might have to be handed over to Deliveroo on legal grounds.
A spokesperson for Deliveroo has confirmed that a complaint has been filed with the intention of achieving that goal.
"Given the obvious and substantive mimicking of our brand, we have lodged a complaint with Dispenseroo's website registrar and the World Intellectual Property Organisation," the spokesperson explained.
The Deliveroo representative also pointed out that the company had no plans to use the Dispenseroo domain name as a means of selling drugs.
Speaking to online news channel VICE, Dispenseroo's founder, who wanted to remain anonymous but described himself as a "weed-smoking Londoner in his 20s with a background in advertising and logistics start-ups", said: "We strongly feel that Deliveroo’s hostile claims to this name, which they derive off the word ‘kangaroo,’ is laughable.
"On a daily basis we receive many messages from customers on how much they depend on us and how much ease we have brought to their life.

"Even against the legal adversities we already face with the archaic laws around cannabis in the UK, we have all come together around the beauties of bud to fight for a cause we strongly believe in.
"We believe our fight with Deliveroo is just another hurdle we must overcome."
The firm's founder added that Dispenseroo had multiple domain names around the world in countries where Deliveroo does not operate.
Deliveroo was founded in 2013 in the UK by Americans Grek Orlowski and Will Shu and now operates in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
The company reported losses just short of £150million for the first six months of 2022 although it still made revenues of over £1billion during that time and completed 160million deliveries.
