Flight attendants forced to quit their jobs after suffering long Covid

After three weeks in isolation with a high fever, Francis felt better and was about to start a new job.

She said:

Slowly, as the weeks went by, Frances said she began to see "warning signs" that she was not recovering normally, including internal tremors, fatigue and back pain. 68}

After treatment, Francis was sent home, but her symptoms continued to recur.

Francis added: "I was so exhausted and confused I didn't know what to do with myself.

"I was told I was young and I was fine, and I went to a medical professional. I often felt abandoned at home.”

By May 2021, Francis was diagnosed with arrhythmia (arrhythmia) and suffered panic attacks as a result of increased shortness of breath. I started to suffer.

She said: I was getting sicker and sicker.

It just got harder to walk.

She added: "I wasn't alive anymore. I just existed. I couldn't go out because I was in pain, and even if I had the vaccine, I wouldn't be able to go out again."

Francis, who often missed work due to illness, retired in March 2022. That's when she had her "worst crash." Experienced, now a condition she has been diagnosed with Covid for a long time.

She said:

"My left leg started to feel like it was dead weight, but it also shifted to my right leg. This was probably the most frightening symptom. It was debilitating.

In addition to taking antihistamines, beta-blockers and using inhalers, she also learned about fatigue management. In particular, she needs to take 3-4 20 minute naps every day.

She also took a number of supplements, including iron, B12, folic acid, and vitamin D, and Frances noticed improvement.

She said: I thought maybe this was the beginning of recovery.

Francis added:

Last week Frances mustered up the energy to attend her best friend's wedding, and it was not without consequences.
