Married at First Sight UK 2022 RECAP: Matt and Whitney’s fate revealed as George makes a massive commitment with April

IT was homestay time tonight on Married at First Sight, as the couples braved the outside world for the first time. Meanwhile, the experts revealed Matt and Whitney's fate.

The couples made a huge commitment tonight, living with each other for the first time since joining MAFS.

April and George took a massive step, as the bride promised "she would never hurt him."

Meanwhile, Whitney and Matt faced the experts as they revealed if the runaway couple would be allowed to stay on the show.

Whitney explained how deep her feelings were for Matt, and the experts were ultimately convinced, allowing them to STAY despite not being married.

Read our MAFS blog below to keep up to date with all of the action...

  • George is scared of commitment

George's mum is in tears as she talks about George's previous releationships.

April promises that she would never break is heart.

  • MAFS Alum Nikita warns of bum lift nightmare

Nikita was removed from last year’s show during the process after she fell out with others resulting in rules around behaviour being broken.

Now, four years after bum lift surgery, 28-year-old Nikita Jasmine warned others about the surgery.

Nikita got the surgery after being inspired by Kim Kardashian: “I’d like to ask her what made her put it all over social media knowing that younger girls would look up to her and be influenced by her.

“I can’t tell you the last time I wore jeans, because they can fit the waist, but can’t fit my bum properly.

“It was the worst pain I’ve ever had. They put a rod into your stomach and chop the fat up, like keyhole incisions. You’re supposed to put weight on beforehand, as much as you can, because the more weight you have the more can go into your bum.”

  • Adrian is struggling with Thomas's anger

Adrian is worried about how Thomas acts in public.

Thomas has seemingly got into a fight at every dinner party so far this season, but maybe he will be different on the outside world.

  • Jonathan's mum knows what's up

Jonathan's mum can see her son's inability to admit hes wrong clear as day.

Hopefully she helps him open up to Sophie

  • This has not gone well at all

Well this dinner didn't go well for Kasia and Kwame.

Things were going so well for them yesterday, what happened!

  • Kasia needs Kwame to open up

Kasia needs some attention from Kwame.

He thinks he has expressed himself fully to her, but she disagrees.

Those friends must feel pretty awkard right now.

  • Fans LOVE how Thomas handled that!

Oh Thomas is handling this beautifully - this is making me a bit misty eyed #MAFSUK

  • Katie vs Thomas part 2

Katie and Thomas had a massive clash at he and Adrians wedding, and now they are meeting again.

Thomas says she isn't his "cup of tea".

But, hey, maybe they can find a common ground.

  • Matt and Whitney stay!

The pair have been given a lifeline and will stay, but will the other couples accept them?

I don't think Thomas will be very pleased to see them back at all.

  • Time to convince the experts

The experts have given Matt and Whitney the chance to convince them to let them stay.

    But will they be convinced?

The experts have said their relationship is "beautiful" to see.

  • Matt and Whitney 'disrespected' the experiment

The judges aren't impressed with Matt and Whitney.

Paul "can't endorse" their return, and the other experts feel "disrespected ."

This is not going well for the loved-up couple.

  • Here come Matt and Whitney!

Here comes trouble, the experts are ready to grill Matt and Whitney.

Will they let the pair stay? Or is time up for the runaway couple?

  • Looking to the future

Jenna and Zoe are already looking to the future, but there are some questions over were they will live.

Zoe isn't keen to leave her hometown, but Jenna can't leave her busisness in Blackpool.

  • Sophie is not a fan of the country lifestyle

Jonathan's smalltown home is stressting Sophie out, its a farcry from London indeed.

Better get used to it Sophie!

  • Meeting the mother

George is set to introduce April to his mum, lets hope she makes a good introduction.

  • Something doesn't add up Kwame

Yesterday, Kwame said he was so happy with Kasia that they should leave the experiment.

But now, he won't let her see his house?

    Something isn't adding up here.

  • April is happy for the homestays

April thinks the homestays couldn't have come at a better time.

She and George are happy to escape all the drama and have some alone time.

  • Jenna's naughty garden decoration

Jenna has given Zoe a tour of her house in Blackpool, including a certain "dildo windchime" in her a garden.

Very interesting choice of garden decore Jenna.

  • Jordan the interior designer

Jordan is impressed with his own interior desgin skills.

  • Time for the home stays!

Tonight is the first night of homestays, where the couples live together for the FIRST time.

I'm sure this will be completely drama free

  • Will Matt and Whitney stay?

The experts are yet to decide if the runaway pair should be allowed to stay on the show.

Do you want them to stay in the experiment?

  • Here we go!

The show is about to begin, get comfy!

  • Not long to go!

Less than one hour until MAFS returns for another explosive episode.

The show will air on E4, as the couples continue to try and make their marriages work.

  • Do you get paid on Married at First Sight?

While there is no prize money upon the show’s conclusion, participants in the experiment do get paid.

Speaking to Now to Love, former contestant Nasser Sultan said: “You get $150 for the day, that’s it. But on top of that, you have to pay expenses – your living expenses with the woman that you marry.”

Married at First Sight will return next Monday at 9pm.

  • Are Matt and Whitney together now?

Matt and Whitney gave up on their marriages last night, opting instead to get to know each other.

But are they still together today?

Well, while neither has confirmed if they are an item, fans think they spotted Matt in one of Whitney’s snaps recently.

“Is this Matt I see 👀🔥 You have come so far since the first episode, grown as a person and u can really see you becoming a better person through this experience. It’s ok to be vulnerable and let people in,” one person commented.
