UEFA Super Cup Preview: Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Real Madrid.
Real Madrid kick off their football season tonight as they face Germany's Eintracht Frankfurt in theUEFA Super Cup final To do. Last season's Champions League and Europa League winners will come together for the right to claim Europe's crown at the start of the new campaign, after triumphs over Liverpool and Rangers respectively in May.
The Whites are aiming to become joint record holders of this trophy alongside his La Liga rivals Barcelona and Italian giants AC Milan. Both have won this cup five times, while Real have won it four times. Madrid's most recent win in this competition came in 2017, but a year later Atlético he lost to Madrid.
Meanwhile, Eintracht Frankfurt () is aiming for his second Supercup win in Germany. Bayern Munich are the only German team to win the competition, while Borussia Dortmund, Hamburg and Werder Bremen are all in contention. Eintracht seems to have better support in Helsinki, where the match is taking place. They have already sold out his ticket quota from Uefa, and fans are buying additional tickets he sold at the 36,000-capacity Olympic Stadium.

Lindstrom managed to push the ball into the box and cut it back, but there was a deflection and the ball rolled safely to Courtois inside the goal.

Real Madrid resumed the game and entered the second half with an advantage. They have a one-goal lead and are just 45 minutes away from winning their first trophy of the season.

45+1 minutes: Real Madrid entered half-time with just one goal taken, but dominated the last 15 minutes of the first half. After Carlo Ancelotti's slight tactical change, the first goal seemed to calm and give the Whites confidence.
Eintracht Frankfurt held on until halftime, but they have some work to do to get back into the game.
