Strictly Come Dancing 2022 LATEST: Tony Adams apologises to Katya after hilarious training blunder

STRICTLY Come Dancing's Tony Adams took to Twitter this week to apologise for a hilarious training blunder.

Tony Adams is making swift progress with his dancing skills, but a training video he shared on Twitter shows he still has a long way to go.

In the clip, the former-Arsenal star and his partner Katya are practising for Strictly's Movie Week, when Adams drops the pro dancer, leading to her landing directly in a bin.

Tony was quick to apologise, commenting: "Sorry @Mrs_katjones (and Steve. Still sorry after all these years," in reference to when he broke his teammate Steve Morrow's arm.

Adding to his post, the football coach thanked fans for their support, saying: “That was a little bit better – but a lot more fun. Thanks to everyone who voted for me – am trying my hardest to get it right, but at times I revert to type.”

    Fans have hit back at judges, after the second week of the dance competition, after noticing this one behavioural issue.

    Judges Craig Revel HorwoodShirley BallasMotsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke returned this year to critique the celebs’ dancing style.

    Some think judges are dishing out too high scores early on in the competition, and need to reign it in a bit.

    On fan tweeted: “The judges overscoring can fully get in the bin.”

    The Loose Women panellist had previously made the Tena confession to her Instagram followers, where she admitted dance partner Kai had no clue what she was on about.

    Returning to the show on Tuesday, Kaye said: “It was such a long day I was so exhausted, and to have Craig say that it was underwhelming, I’d thrown myself up in the air I had my TENA Ladies on, what more do you want from me!?” The Daily Mail reported.

    Strictly judge Shirley Ballas recently opened up about her “very difficult” menopause, as she takes part in a new campaign for women.

    She is fronting the new QVC for World Menopause Month campaign, and spoke openly about how hard the menopause was for her.

    “To be honest, I never thought about menopause. It just throws you out of sync. But it’s not just a list of symptoms… I just didn’t have any support,” Shirley explained in a new clip.

    The head judge, 62, also spoke of her surprise after her son noticed she was struggling, and encouraged her to talk to him about how she was feeling.

    By sharing her experience, Shirley hopes to help others who are also struggling with the menopause, and help them find ways to cope.

  • Anton Du Beke says being voted off Strictly was ‘the worst thing in the world’

    Strictly judge Anton Du Beke has revealed how it felt being a Strictly Come Dancing pro and being voted off the competition.

    For the second year running, he has replaced Bruno Tonioli on the judging panel.

    Speaking at the Henley Literary Festival in Oxfordshire, the Strictly favourite said: “Not that there is anything wrong with it but getting voted off, I just hated it. 

    “It is the worst thing in the world. And it never got better as I got older.”

    The radio DJ ran the London Marathon on Sunday after competing on Strictly Come Dancing the night before.

    But he has to make a swift recovery before this Saturday night’s show with partner Dianne Buswell.

    He told his Instagram following he sped up the recovery by doing cryotherapy treatment, where the body is exposed to very cold temperatures.

    “Obviously, it didn’t go my way this year, but Kaye is a lovely lady and such an amazing partner,” he told the Southampton Daily Echo.

    Kai continued: “There’s something about getting support from your hometown that feels really, really amazing.

    “It’s difficult to describe because you want to say thank you to everybody at once, but it’s one of those things where you can’t be thankful enough for the support that you get.

    “You want to go as far as you can, naturally. But at the same time, you have to be mindful that there’s only so much your celebrity can learn and if that’s as far as they can go, that’s as far as they can go.”

    It has been revealed that this weekend the Strictly couples are going to dance to movie soundtracks.

    But, confusingly, Hamza and Jowita have been tasked with dancing the Rumba to the Jurassic Park’s theme.

    It is tricky to get your head around how that will work, fans agree.

    One tweeted: “Uuuuummmm a rhumba to jurassic park?!! How the hell does that work?!! Some of these song choices are rubbish!”

    “Rumba…………to the theme from Jurassic Park……..is that a wind up??” @imogenalanah_ added: “Rumba?! To the Jurassic park theme?! Done hamza dirty,” another fumed.

    The singer and her dance partner Vito are practicing the Viennese Waltz, and shares hilarious clip of him singing.

    This weekend they are dancing to Part of This World, from the Little Mermaid, which is Fleur's favourite Disney movie.

    She captioned the video: "This is how it goes down in rehearsals! The Viennese Waltz practice was intense and hilarious.

    "Vito’s version of the song is my favourite! 😂 check out his singing in this video. Do you think he’s got potential?"

    The new Strictly pro Carlos Gu and singer Molly Rainford show cased their strong bond talking on It Takes Two.

    Host Janette Manrara branded the pair "so cute" as Carlos said he was "really really proud" of Molly, and the two held hands.

    He said: "After seeing her doing a dance like that... wow I was really really proud of you."

    Molly replied, "I have the best teacher I think!"

    They discussed their next dance, the Walts to One Hand One Heart, from West Side Story.

    The song played, and Carlos took Molly's hand, Janette said: "Oh em gee," Janette said. "Look at them they're in character already! I love it, it comes on and it takes over!".

    The star admitted she was feeling intimidated about the next few weeks on the show after topping the leaderboard.

    This week, Molly and Carlos Gu, appeared on It Takes Two with Janette Manrara, where Molly discussed her anxieties.

    "I am feeling a little bit scared for the coming weeks just because I feel like we have set a good bar and there’s pressure to keep that up," she told the host.

    Dance partner Carlos reassured Molly, explaining he was "hoping for the best," reported The Metro.

    Based on what the stars earn on Instagram adverts, it is thought that Fleur East makes top dollar with around £2,896 a post.

    Kym Marsh isn't far behind with a possible £1,882 per post.

    Coming in third, it is thought actor Will Mellor could make in a potential £1,205, according to Find My Casino.
