Vicki Pattison vandalizes and throws away Geordie Shore image and new documentary

Vicky Pattison came up with one solution to end the relentless online abuse facing many reality TV stars on social media platforms. I'm calling on Instagram to implement it.

The star, who recently wowed audiences in the Channel 4 documentary Alcohol, Dad and Me, looks back on how reality television has changed in the last few years. Seeking a higher duty. Young stars from everyone involved in shows like Love Island and Big Brother

signed up to appear on national TV shows and made public appearances. All too often we think about the potential pitfalls we might face when undergoing scrutiny.

MTV's Geordie Shore was the first documentary filmmaker to rise to fame among "strong women" like Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and fellow Olivia. Condemn cruel trolls targeting Atwood and Faye Winter

- and already do - social media is "a place where people are let down" when it comes to their duty to take care of reality TV stars.

"I didn't watch 'Love Island' this year. I've been really busy, but I found some stuff online and the comments section pissed me off," he said online last week.

"So many bright, beautiful, incredibly young people have been lost by the incredible trauma they've been through online and the pressures they face. , I was incredibly upset. Words.”

I have always appreciated TV, but feel it requires a "higher duty of care" (

Love Island has seen many names in recent years. One of her girlfriends associated with the ITV2 series took her own life, including hostCaroline Flack, who died in February 2020. A popular romance show.

Reality TV and Vicky herself has changed dramatically since her first on-screen appearance as a gregarious 22-year-old girl through her Geordie Shore original her series on MTV. .

Vicki admits that the genre that created the platform she now enjoys was "a product of reality TV that I will always be grateful for", but "has never seen anything like it in that field." The tragedy arguably requires a higher degree of care.”

She praises the strengthening of television networks in recent years and gives credit toITV.She helped star Chloe Blockett when she was in trouble, but she thinks it's time for her social media company to do the same.

"What [trolls] are saying is out there, and whether or not these gorgeous young reality TV stars have had the chance to read [comments] The profound impact is already being done:

"Everybody thinks about Covid-19 the same way they write something. Jokes and misinformation - post warnings If people say bad things about someone, why doesn't the same thing happen?

Vicky was crowned Queen of the Jungle in December 2015

Thanks to her time at Geordie Shore through her early twenties, the public grew up with Vicki and how she lived the rest of her life. I've been watching you walk. n I am famousGet me out of here. In 2015, and most recently, I rebranded myself as a full fledged documentary maker.

Vicki calls out her response toChannel 4 documentary Alcohol, Dad and Me. This is the emotional detangling of the role booze played in her childhood. Discuss her new career direction.

Her Debut Following the amazing response to her documentary, Vicky wants to continue on the new paths she has carved out and explore other issues and topics on screen.

"Oh baby you called me a 'documentary filmmaker' I can't believe it, I got goosebumps," she confides. while chatting about her new career.

Vicky recalled that she was still called "the Geordie Shore her star" even though she hadn't appeared on the show since 2014. I am enthusiastic about pointing out how much I have achieved.

"Okay. I don't really care, but I think I've won the jungle. I've been on Loose Women, I've been a Celebrity MasterChef finalist, Once a Sunday Times best-selling author - I can't believe [Geordie Shore] is still the most relevant for people to describe me," she added jokingly.

I moved to [since Geordie Shore],” continues Vicki. "I've played a lot of people, and my change is so obvious that I can understand why [Geordie Shore] is frustrated by the descriptions still being used, but I'm not sure if moving to a new space would be a good idea."

"I'm a huge fan of people like Stacey Dooley. So I would like to make more documentaries when I get the chance - whether it's personal to me or on other subjects - I like that sort of thing.

"That's my goal," she adds.

The happy couple moved into their dream home together last year. d Head to your new home.

Vicky enlisted the help of her peers to "look through my wardrobe and bring whatever I wanted" before she moved, but her friend asked her to help out instead. Ended up trying on designer clothes all night and things ended in disaster as she packed up.

To help others avoid moving mistakes, new homeowner Vicky has partnered with the app Taskrabbit to share tips for a stress-free move.

"I had a lot of celebrity friends at my engagement party and Ferne McCann showed up late. I think it would be terrible to help move houses," she joked. rice field. "She has a daughter on Sunday, a job, and a lot of hands.

"If Pete [Wicks] came, he probably would have brought Sam [Thompson] and they were both just playing around, so I don't think he's running.

196} "I frankly don't understand why some people don't use Taskrabbit. They are the best."
