The Manchester Fire Department says the spillage of construction material from overladen trucks continues to pose a threat to motorists.
Superintendent Rohan Powell said precious time and resources are being wasted to clean the deposits from roadways.
He has renewed his appeal for truckers to be mindful when loading their vehicles with aggregates and "pay close attention to the weight they are carrying on the road and the securing of these things".
Superintendent Powell said the issue is prevalent along the Winston Jones Highway, forcing the brigade to frequently have to shovel and wash the road to ensure the safety of motorists.
He said vehicles leaking oil are also a cause for concern.
