Bisee overcame Active Hill 3-2 in a hard-fought encounter to emerge winners of the La Clery Football League Parliamentary Cup, in the finals played at the La Clery Playing Field last Sunday.
Benjamin Mc Donald scored a brace with goals in the 13th and 70th minutes, while Verd Smith converted in the 41st minute for Bisee. Scoring for Active Strikers were Acy Adlien and Nelly Simone in the 21st and 45th minutes respectively.
In the Third Place Play Off, Radics defeated Veterans 4-nil; with goals from Jurrel Cooper in the 67th and 79th minutes, Shawn Alcee 54th and Janou Henry 16th minutes.

Parliamentary Representative for the Castries North constituency, Stephenson King commended the League and the participating clubs on a well-run tournament. He acknowledged the fighting prowess of the eventual winners Bisee United.
King was pleased with the involvement of the crop of young talented footballers on show, and looks forward to some of these youngsters gaining selection to represent the La Clery Senior team.
He noted that with tournaments resuming since the post covid-era, efforts are being undertaken to refurbish the field and provide better lighting facilities at the grounds.
King disclosed that a comprehensive evaluation has been undertaken and negotiations has commenced for the installation of a new set of upgraded lighting for the facility. In addition, he said, there has been ongoing discussion with the League to incorporate a master plan for the facility inclusive of Washroom Facilities, Stands and Vending Facilities.
Meanwhile, with two more preliminary matches to be played, the Big Four or Semi-Finalists in the National Lotteries Authority of St Lucia (NLA) sponsored Vieux-Fort South Premiere league has been decided.
In a crucial qualifying match, last Saturday, Victory Eagles II defeated Knights 2-1 to clinch the fourth semi-final spot.
Kluivert Grey put Victory Eagles ahead 1-0 at the interval, but after both teams fell short of capitalizing on scoring opportunities. Mathius Samuel got the equalizer for Knights in the 78 minute.
As the game appeared to be heading for a tame draw, Hermani Kisna’s spot kick in stoppage time made the difference to send his team into the qualifiers.
The semi-final matchup scheduled for this Sunday (August 14) will feature; from 5. 00 pm Platinum FC vs. Victory Eagles II followed by Uptown Rebels vs. Victory Eagles I.
The remaining matches between Shamballa and W. Mangue U and Knights vs. Stable Boys, which have no bearing on the semifinals, have been tentatively scheduled for Friday August 12.
In the meantime, scores of matches played last Friday in the Clarke / Feverie Foundation Sponsored Under-11 tournament are as follows:
