25 best Travel Tuesday 2022 deals on flights, hotels, cruises, vacations

You know what comes after Cyber Monday? Travel Tuesday! So, let’s get you from your couch to the skies this December and beyond — and on a budget, too.

We’re talking travel, with savings spread across hotels, airlines, vacation packages and more for 2022 and into the new year.

To celebrate the shopping extravaganza, many booking and travel sites are starting as early as today, sharing flight deals and hotel packages on deep discount you won’t find any other time of the year — pack your bags now!

This also comes at the perfect time, as there really is no better holiday gift to give than a dream vacation or getaway. Or, escape the cold just for yourself and book a solo trip to the tropics before 2022 is over.

Since holiday travel can be tricky, we also spoke to an expert — Melanie Fish, head of global PR, for Expedia Group Brands — who helped us understand the busy skies ahead of the holidays.

“Timing is key. Waiting to start a trip on the Monday before Christmas instead of the Saturday before can save travelers about 20% on average,” advised Fish. “If possible, wait to return on Friday, Dec. 30 instead of the day after Christmas to save about 30%. If there is flexibility, traveling on the holiday itself is typically cheaper and less crowded.”

New York Post Composite

This is great news, as the deals below are shoppable right now, allowing you to book as soon as Christmas for your last minute holiday plans. Since there’s nothing worse than canceled plans, Fish had one more tip before you book.

“I always advise my friends and family to stick to a carry-on and book an early flight if possible so there’s time to recover if a flight is delayed or canceled,” added Fish.

Whether you need a domestic flight in a pinch for the holidays or a full-blown international excursion, read on for the best Black Friday, Cyber Monday and even Travel Tuesday deals of 2022.
