Costco's exclusive umbrella maker has announced a recall of more than 400,000 units.

All recalled umbrellas have LED lights on their arms and solar cells on top.
Affected models must have the "YEEZE" or "YEEZE1" mark on the battery cover.
SunVilla has received at least six reports of lithium-ion batteries used to overheat umbrellas.
According to the recall announcement, five of these incidents led to fires.
The battery has been reported to have caused a fire while charging indoors when connected to the AC adapter and to an umbrella.
In the sixth case reported, the owner of the umbrella smoked after the battery overheated.
Umbrellas were sold at Costco warehouses nationwide from December 2020 to May 2022.
Approximately 400,000 bottles were sold in the United States and another 33,000 bottles were sold in Canada.
Costco and Sun Villa have contacted all known buyers.
Anyone with a recalled product is entitled to a full refund and should immediately stop using the umbrella
The Consumer Product Safety Commission should be stored away from batteries, the sun and combustibles and should not be recharged.
