On the outside, she might seem normal but she harbors some deep secrets, including that she might have telekinetic powers. It’s another story about fitting in but more so about growing up and feeling misunderstood. Sadly, there’s only one season of this incredible show, but it still deserves your attention.

Liked Nevermore academy, where the outcasts are monsters? Find yourself a new school with Monster High, where different, well-known monsters go to school (Frankie Stein, Draculara, etc.). The monsters are outcasts but also very punny and it’s worth it for the interesting fashion sense each monster has.

For a semi-scary show filled with mystery that is all about fitting in, Ryan Murphy’s Scream Queens will do just the trick. Featuring Nick Jonas, Lea Michelle, Keke Palmer, and of course, Jamie Lee Curtis, the daughter of scream queen Janet Leigh, Scream Queens is hilarious while also definitely filled with screams. It’s also not super scary though blood is definitely in there.
