Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie allegedly collided on a plane in 2016, FBI documents reveal

LOS ANGELES — Angelina Jolie said Brad Pitt "ruined this family" when he crashed into a private jet in 2016, according to an FBI report. said to have accused The report is private, but she was obtained by NBC News on Tuesday.

A recently sealed Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed against the FBI named "Jane Doe" as a person seeking release of FBI documents. Details of what is being sought in the latest filing are unclear, and Jane Doe's attorney said in her April[82] that she cannot comment on the client's identity. However, the attorney noted that the client "had been seeking such records for years, but had been thwarted and had to go to court to receive the necessary records."[5]

An initial filing seen by NBC News in March described the plaintiff as a woman and stated: “When the husband allegedly physically and verbally assaulted the plaintiff and the children, they ‘experienced lasting physical and mental trauma as a result of the assault.’” Freedom of Information/Privacy Act The summary of events (FOIPA) submissions contained in the FOIPA are similar to those detailed in the FBI report.

Representatives for Jolie did not respond to requests for comment. A representative for Pitt declined to comment. The FBI also declined to discuss the case.

had, tired in that en," a source told NBC News. "The last paragraph (.) is very clear and concise about the fact that all parties, all law enforcement agencies agreed with the decision not to prosecute. This was nothing like a close call. They did the due diligence, and the decision was made with the consent of all parties involved.”

November 2016, FBI and Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services. (DCFS) closed an investigation into allegations of physical abuse involving Pitt and his children. In September 2016, Pitt boarded his private jet carrying Jolie and their children. A source close to Pitt at the time said, "He stresses that he has not reached the level of physical abuse and that no one has physically harmed him. He never punched a child in the face." He didn't.He's stressed about it.He reached out to him because the confrontation got out of hand.

Criminal charges filed against Pitt. Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September 2016, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the separation. Accusing Pitt of not paying "meaningful" child support for over a year. Despite being declared legally single in April 2018, custody issues continue. The couple's breakup, once known to fans as "Brangelina," was very public.

The FBI report depicts Jolie's view of her tense one-hour flight, which Jolie said Pitt was drinking.

In a 2017 GQ article, Pitt said he struggled with alcohol and stopped drinking. accused Pitt of pouring beer on her during a trip at Los Angeles International Airport in September 2016. His hometown was not listed as his wife at the time had parenting issues while on the .

With Jolie and her six children on the plane, the "Tomb Raider" actor, apparently referring to Pitt, said, "(Edited) crazy We found that there were," the report said.

When Jolie asked him what was wrong, he is said to have replied:

"She remembered (REDACTED) going on to say things like, 'You don't know what you're doing,'" she said of her parenting. Explicitly referring, the report continued.

They went to the back of the plane hoping to stay out of the children's ears, Jolie told her FBI.

Pitt is said to have "grabbed and shook her by the head, then grabbed and shook her by the shoulder" before "hitting the ceiling of the plane about four times."

After at least one of his children witnessed the confrontation and asked, "Mommy, are you okay?" She's ruining this family. she's crazy

When someone else on the plane shot back into the pit, "That's not her, it's you, you stab," Jolie said when her husband I said I had to grab him around the neck to keep him away from attacking the person.

The FBI reported that after Pitt spilled wine on a chair on the plane, causing $25,000 in damage, he and his children "poured beer on her and the blanket she was under."

"AJ (Jolie) said he didn't want to get another blanket because he didn't want to draw attention to them," the report said.

Jolie said she was injured in the fight, according to a report containing photos of her injured hand and elbow.

According to reports, Jolie said that when the plane landed, she was unable to exit the plane because the pit allegedly erupted. You don't get off this f--- plane. F--- Everyone. I f------ leave you.

The report is based on her FBI interview with Jolie, which states that she was on board with her six children.

Throughout the report she is referred to as "AJ", but everyone else's names have been redacted.

Five weeks after her flight, federal prosecutors announced they would not indict Pitt.

"This author provided a copy of the probable cause statement relating to this incident to both his AUSAs (assistant U.S. attorneys)," he said in the FBI report. increase.

“After reviewing the documents, representatives of the U.S. Department of Justice discussed the merits of this investigation with the case attorney.

When asked about the recent court filings, a source familiar with the case said of Jolie: increase. And the only reason to do it is for media purposes, because six years later she still has nothing to talk about other than this. This is the information she has had for six years. After all these years, how does releasing this benefit her or any of her family members?

A representative for Jolie did not respond to a request for comment regarding the motivation for the Freedom of Information record request.

Diana Dasrath and Andrew Blankstein reported from Los Angeles and David K. Li reported from New York City.
