NEWNow you can listen to Fox News articles.

Former USA Today Deputy Editor-in-Chief posted an opinion column in the New York Post, accusing him of demoting a former employer in a tweet that only women would become pregnant.

The author argued that his plight was the result of USA Today's "Diversity Commission" managing the newsroom. He also warned that it would eventually backfire after they lost "half of their potential readers to pursue the narrow political agenda of their activist staff."

Former Deputy Editor, Dave Mastio, published a work on Thursday at the New York Post blaming his old employer. It started with a brief summary of what allegedly happened to him after he offended a staff member who awoke with his tweet stating that a woman would be pregnant.

"Something about the evolution of Ganett until August, when I was Deputy Editor-in-Chief of USA Today, until I was demoted after tweeting" Pregnant people are also women. " I know, "he insisted.

USA TODAY has deleted 23 articles by one reporter as a result of the review. USA Today reporters on the beat of "diversity, impartiality and inclusiveness" wrote a story claiming that "trans-gender men can become pregnant." Mastio argued that "I exacerbated my sins against this new legitimacy by calling the idea that a man can become pregnant an" opinion. "

USA Today says the left has taken over the newsroom. It was overwhelmed by the claiming former deputy editor. (USA TODAY)

The former Deputy Editor-in-Chief claimed that he threatened to demote his employer if he refused to delete the tweet. "When I wanted to continue working at USA Today, my boss contacted me. I had to remove these offensive tweets because I was distressing LGBTQ activists and staff journalists."

In the corresponding Twitter thread, Mastio provided details about his expulsion. "The young awakened activists of the staff have been fighting for months to scrape off the" discriminatory "and" hatred "phrases" pregnant women "from USAT. Last August, they finally succeeded in replacing it with "pregnant people." CDC used the same language", he tweeted.

He subtweeted, "Pregnant people are also called women." @susmiller [SusanMiller], USA TODAY's news editor, rebuked me by sending a link to USA TODAY's "News". A story detailing the life of a trans man who gave birth to a baby, "Mastio insisted.

Mastio tweeted after repeating on Twitter that he claimed not to be his "opinion." ..

Returning to the New York Post column, Mastio argued that "the LGBTQ employee resource group and the'diversity'committee of the newsroom thought I should be dismissed." Mastio never showed that he was fired, but on Twitter he "moved" from the company after "multiple meetings between the" Diversity "Committee and the LGBTQ Employee Resources Commission." I just said.

The rest of his column warns Gannett (USA Today's parent company) shareholders that they are "on board." I devoted myself to that. "Newspapers in dozens of states will embrace diversity, reflect their communities, and give rise to a unique and accurate view of America that millions of people will pay," he tells them. Depends on the company.

Gannet, today's US owners, other newspapers, shrink opinion page to fight "biased" perceptions

Mastio condemned this issue: "Gannet's top editors and publishers share a narrow" awakened "ideologythat is different from the values of most readersyoung college graduates. The company is filled with executives from the company. " He also said that Gannet had "a total of one local conservative staff columnist," "one conservative editing page left," and "no conservative editing cartoonist left on the network." Insisted. "

He also argued that members of the aforementioned" Diversity Commission "were rooting in unpublished articles and trying to surge articles that were off the agenda. Through the gauntlet, we need to match content that is more obedient to the ideology of diversity.

In addition, Mastio revealed that "the staff of the regional design center, the people who lay out the dissertation, have the ability to kill conservative columns." Selected by the local opinion editor.

His overall point is, "Potential subscribers if the awakened news department staff has something that influences the news they have an opinion on." Half of them don't have the opportunity to see their opinions expressed fairly. " .. "

Mastio concludes the column that "Gannett and USA Today's Top Leaders" have "lost control of the newsroom." Activist staffCancel half of potential readers to pursue a narrow political agendaIt won't be long before it reaches final revenue. They haven't responded yet, but contacted Ganett for comment.
