Too early: Fentanyl flowing from China

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles.

Daniel Puerta-Johnson was an introverted and kind teenager.

His friends often went to him for relationship advice, Daniel's father, Jaime Puerta, told Fox News. When Daniel contacted the drug dealer on Snapchat, he was 16 years old during theheightof the COVID-19 pandemic.

In March 2020, Daniel was fighting depression. He was looking for an oxycodone pill for self-medication.

When Daniel asked for a dog walk one day, Jaime thought he was suspicious.

In Wisdom, Puerta said, Daniel was getting what the teens thought was Oxycodone.

But at dinner a few hours later, everything seemed normal to Jaime. The two had a wonderful night together, Jaime remembered. Daniel hugged his father and he kissed his cheek before saying good night as usual.

The next morning, Jaime noticed that Daniel was dead in his bedroom. His only sondied of an overdose of fentanylJamie was one of the 70,000 Americans killed between December 2020 and December 2021.

"He was just an innocent child. He made a stupid decision, but he died. Daniel is not worthy of death. We are going to bury the children. No, "Puerta told Fox. She was traumatized by the sudden death of his son.

Former US Marine Corps Puerta is the chairman of an organization that defends victims like Daniel. He spreads his awareness and avoids the experience of other parents losing their children like him. His organization is calledVictimsOf Illicit Drugs and is known as VOID

. Some experts argue that the issue of fentanyl has become a national security issue, including state-sponsored attacks.

Puerta agrees so.

"Is this the way China attacks our democracy? I think so. There are so many fentanyls in this country right now, so all men and women in the United States. , Enough to kill a child, "Puerta said.

China continues to be the primary source of fentanyl, a drug that kills more than 100 people daily in the United States. The Drug Enforcement Authoritystates that China remains the world's major global source of fentanyl.

Use two methods to deliver the drug to the United States. Ship directly to the United States by international mail or via Mexico. In some cases, Chinese sellers will assist in customs clearance with Spanish ads on the shipment of these deadly drugs. US lawmakers say China's criminal syndication is run on Communist knowledge.

Until March 15, 2022 The Montana Highway Patrol seized 12,079 fentanyl tablets, more than three times the total in 2021.  (Fox News)

Once in Mexico, traffickers brought fentanyl into a secret lab and brought it to the lab. Try to dilute. Often uses inaccurate measurements and equipment. It has since been smuggled across national borders into the United States and is already affiliated with the distribution network. At the end of the supply chain is the Money Laundering Network, which was set up to bring these deadly drugs into the hands of unprotected young Americans.

As a fentanyl death climb, drug cartels target our precious Tennessee

"China The Communist Party is involved in almost every economy, business-wise, you have a Chinese scientist who comes out of China and is affiliated with a cartel. "Senator Marsha Blackburn , R-Tennessee,told Fox.

Blackburn is co-sponsoring the 2022 bipartisan Kids Online Safety Act in collaboration with Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal (Connecticut). Proponents say the US government needs to look at this from a national security perspective.

"Fentanyl is not sold outside the United States and Canada," said Gretchen Peters, Executive Director of theAlliance to Counter CrimeOnline. , Told Fox. "There are floods in these countries, and at first I thought it was an exaggeration to have some form of state support. I'm not sure now."

The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency has reported a record number of seizures in fentanyl. I'm watching it. (DEA)

In August 2021, the Department of State issued a $ 5 million reward for information leading to arrests and / or convictions126} was provided. Zhang Jian, a national of the People's Republic of China, is the leader of what is known as the Drug Enforcement Bureau in China.

A Mexican drug cartel targeting Montana in the fentanyl trade. Increased deaths from overdose: Law enforcement agency

China officially bans fentanyl production in 2019 under pressure fromTrump administrationAnd pushed a Chinese pharmaceutical company into Mexico. It is currently an important part of the supply chain.

By Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen And, the selling price of the M30 fentanyl pill in Montana is almost six times the selling price of the same pill in other cities across the country.  (Fox News )

The Chinese embassy pushed back a statement from a spokesperson.

"These claims are very irresponsible and completely false," said a spokesman. "So far, China has not found any precursor chemicals to be shipped to Mexico and has not received any notification from the Mexican side about seizing the planned chemicals from China. American Fentanil AbuseSeriously misleads victims and their families, as well as Chinese and Americans. "

Jaime Puerta pays more attention to parents doingon social mediaand about it I suggest talking frequently.

"All we have to do is make one bad decision and you are dead. And it is immeasurable. It is not conscientious. And we believe our government has to do something about this right away, "Puerta said.

He wants Daniel to be remembered as a beautiful old soul.

"It was good in this world that he wanted to do everything," Puerta said. He just wanted to graduate on stage with his friends. He wanted to go to a college education in systems engineering. He wanted to spend a lot of time with his girlfriend. He wanted to build a wonderful life for himself. And it's all gone. It's all gone second. And now we have to deal with the consequences.
