Manhattan Dem High Boomerism's Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee in the Battle of Nadler and Maloney

In a head-to-head battle between the two aging camps of the Democratic Party in mid-Manhattan, Jerry Nadler faces former ally and House veteran Carolyn Maloneyeasily. and defeated her effortlessly. Also Suraj Patel has his 3 runs. Nadler and Maloney, who were first elected to Congress in the final months of the Bush administration, namely in 1992, marched almost in unison as staunch representatives of boomerism.

These fine soldiers — two veteran members of Congress, both born in the early years of President Truman, like two halves of an ideologically buttered bagel — How was it that the New York Democrats were forced to pit themselves against each other? At least not since Elizabeth Holtzman fired Emmanuel Sellar (b. 1888) in 1972 as the New York Democratic

Democratic Politics and Ideology New York City is so uniform that candidates were asked to draw out their differences during the debate. "Carolyn voted for the war in Iraq, I voted against it," Nadler meditated . Maloney admitted that she and Nadler were equally liberal, but only she was "more effective," or more.

When the bill to regulate the bureau's pension fund was introduced, Nadler bravely defended her, but only in the way she spoke, of course. Nadler spent the entire debate sitting while his opponents stood. "I just want to say that Carolyn is absolutely right about the 2005 bill," asserted Nadler

Nadler and Maloney dear friendship was distorted by the fire of controversy, but some scoffed at the notion that a lot of love had been lost between the two. "It's not like they used to take baths together when they were kids," observed one well-positioned Manhattan Democrat.

While we paused to ponder the image or erase it from our memory, with little interruption of the entity, Tweedledum and Think about how to distinguish Tweedle Dee from each other. Elsewhere, both have had to rely on style to appeal to voters. Talk about the

style. Rep. Nadler is known to have struggled with his weight for years until he underwent bariatric surgery in 2002. He tried the drug fenfen. He tried Weight Watchers. I went to Duke University — that weight loss program stayed there for months. And who can blame him for trying.

More recently, Nadler wears her shrunken figure like a loose garment, with looser suits, and pants often worn at nipple level. So... often resembling the aloof, untalented fourth brother of the Three Stooges, Nadler is something of a parliamentary clown prince. When he's not dozing off at hearings, he boasts that "he impeached President Bush twice," nibbles at podiums at press conferences, and calls Antifa violence a "myth." I am saying

Nadler, 75,assumed his role as chairman of the Judiciary Committee in two (unsuccessful) impeachments of Donald Trump during his 30-year tenure. However, he downplayed the many blunders and failures in the role. After accusing a Republican senator of "treachery" in his first impeachment trial, he wassidelined by Nancy Pelosi. Clearly far from the top of his game, or even halfway down the slope, Nadler has become the buttocks of his viral tweetsshowing his bewilderment and bewilderment.

Maloney, 76, provided an invaluable and excellent foil for Nadler, at least for comedic purposes. Carolyn Maloney, whose unidentifiable accent — Lenox Hill, Piedmont, North Carolina, squeezes her lockjaw hard — with her constant skull grin and “say-anything” chatter, Carolyn says her Maloney has been her favorite over the years. It has provided great entertainment value to its members.

{ She fell in love with pandas after traveling to China in 2014. She Han the Bear is when She Han holds the panda's hand while eating delicious bamboo. She became adamant about leasing her Chinese pandas to display at her Central Park Zoo, but her zookeepers asked her to drop the campaign.

She called Nadler "half-dead" and "senile" and implied that she would not be able to make it through the next term. After bluntly stating that Mr. Biden wouldn't run for re-election in . She claimed she received "death threats from the NRA."

In 2009, when she was considering running for Senate against Kirsten Gillibrand, she said that Gillibrand's proposal for English-only instruction in Puerto Rico would "[N word] to a Puerto Rican," she defended herself, explaining that she was quoting a Puerto Rican saying this to her. I don't know...I'm just throwing it away." That's the end of her Senate run.

Maloney became close with pandas after traveling to China in 2014. Han Han the bear was holding the hand of the panda and eating it. Tasty bumbo.

If all had gone according to plan, Nadler v. Maloney wouldn't have happened. New York State is firmly ruled by Democrats at every significant level, and everyone knows what the point of such overwhelming political control is: ensuring the re-election of all incumbents.

After taking full control of Albany in 2018, the Democrats reorganized the entire state to eliminate any chance of a Republican victory. By all accounts, Nadler and Maloney have elbowed their elbows in the dirty work of gerrymandering the district in order to give it as much personal advantage as possible.

But the Democrats went too far. Their vision of a royal-blue New York was thwarted by a court that pointed out that the bare partisan plan violated the state constitution. Instead of a piece of cake for all incumbents to satisfy , a "special master" created a new map. Its purpose is to remove these foul language - neutral and non-partisan

As a result, Stretching from the Upper West Side to Borrow Park and resembling two mating worms doing yoga, the original neighborhood of Nadler was dismantled and merged with the western half of the Maloney neighborhood to form central Manhattan. We have formed a new district of discrete quadrilaterals in

and we are done. Jerry Nadler, a Sbengali on the set of Zaver, defeated his twin and hot-headed Maloney. Maloney will have time for Dickens to clean out her office stuffed with memorabilia from the first Clinton administration and all those panda trinkets. Meanwhile, Nadler is able to loosen his suspenders and take a final victory nap. he won
