The Ravens’ postseason hopes may have just hit a potential roadblock after quarterback Lamar Jackson suffered a knee injury during Baltimore’s 10-9 win over the Denver Broncos Sunday.
Fortunately for Baltimore, head coach John Harbaugh said Jackson’s injury is not season-ending. The Ravens’ starting quarterback will have an MRI and other tests on Monday and could miss days or weeks, according to Harbaugh.

Jackson’s injury occurred late in the first quarter when the Ravens were trailing the Broncos, 3-0. Jackson attempted to evade pressure from Broncos linebacker Jonathon Cooper but took a 6-yard sack and exited the game.
The Ravens’ backup quarterback, Tyler Huntley, entered the game and went 27-for-32 with 187 yards and an interception. He added a 2-yard rushing touchdown with 28 seconds left to put the Ravens ahead 10-9, in what was the game-winning touchdown.
Huntley also logged 10 rushes for 41 yards.
Should Jackson be unavailable next week, it’s likely Huntley will have to suit up again in a divisional-round matchup against the Steelers on the road in Pittsburgh.
Sunday’s win over the Broncos improves the Ravens’ record to 8-4 and keeps them atop the AFC North standings for the time being, with the 7-4 Bengals looming in second. The two teams will meet again in the regular-season finale on Sunday, Jan. 8.
Fortunately for the Ravens, they have an easy schedule before that final game. After facing the Steelers next week, they’ll play the Browns, Falcons and Steelers again.
