As the shortage of infant formula continues across the United States,a Louisiana mother who relies on Facebook groups to get the infant formula she needs for premature babies is still in dire straits. I want to remind others that it is. — And don't fill or ignore it.

"We were in a position not to put's mother in," Amber Bergeron of Sorrento, Louisiana, told Fox News Digital.

"We feel helpless. As a community, it feels like [the right people] are trying to take care of rather than intervening. "Masu," she added. "People aren't paying attention to what's really happening here and how serious it is, but it's still happening . They just seem to forget."

Parents are desperately looking for homemade infant formula. The fact that we have problems feedingbabiesand that is happening nationwide is ridiculous. I hate it because I'm sure these politician babies will eat, "she said.

"I'm sure they will find a way."

Her baby spent nearly two weeks in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Both children arrived at a weight of 5 pounds and 3 ounces.

Both babies had iron deficiency and lost £ 1 each.

Bergeron couldn't find a brand of prescriptions recommended by her family's pediatrician to provide the higher nutritional levels needed by the enemy, she said. At one point, Burgeron became a can — she was enough to feed her baby in just one day.

"Other formulas are rich in nutrients, vitamins D, E, K and iron, which other formulas do not have ," said the four children. Burgeron with says.

Burgeron said that doctors do not recommend breastfeedingbecause he is taking prescription drugs. Before the twins were born, she couldn't stock up on the formula because there was no way to know which brands could meet their health needs.

Bergeron said she and her husband, Craig, are spending $ 500 a month to feed their twins. She contacted the hospital where Sky and Storm were born and asked them to buy her prescription, but authorities told her that selling to her was against her policy.
