Thousands of protesters are on the streets of Manhattan and across the country after the Supreme Court overturns the groundbreaking Law vs. Wade decision that protects women's rights. At least 12 people were arrested after appearing. Right to abortion for almost 50 years.
Washington Square Park was flooded with enthusiastic pro-choice supporters on Friday evening. After that, the crowd went north in Midtown around 9 pm. Stops at Grand Central Station, Times Square and Bryant Park.
One police officer estimated that there were 17,000 people in the crowd. Many were screaming like "my body, my choice" and had signs saying "keep your law away from my body" and "no womb or opinion".
