On July 4th of this year, House GOP pledges to respect our fundamental freedoms.

NEWYou can now listen to FoxNews articles.

The United States is the largest country in the history of the world. Republicans in the House of Representatives want to keep it that way.

This July 4th is 246 years after the founder's father proclaimed three self-evident truths. God has given us inviolable rights such as the pursuit of life, freedom and happiness. And the government draws its authority from the consent of the ruler. The founding generation fought to secure these principles, and the next generation shed blood to defend them.

When Americans celebrate Independence Day with parades and fireworks, we need to be aware of what makes our country special. America is great for its founding ideals and fundamental freedoms, first clarified in our Declaration of Independence and later guaranteed by our Constitution and Encyclopedia of Rights.

Wecelebrate an independent day with special programming throughout the holiday weekend } Never receive these rights granted.Over the past few years, Americans have seen how militants worked to erode the basic freedoms and most basic rights of Americans. From freedom of speech to the right to possess weapons, the rights of almost all sacred Americans today are at increased risk from awakened liberalism. Even the most basic right, the right to life itself, is under new, more vicious attacks from Blue State Progressive.

Democrats erode our rights because they do not consider our rights, or even America itself, special. I'm trying. Instead, they believe that America is a fundamentally flawed country. See how President Byden apologizes to for American actions abroad and teaches Americans at home. Or see how Democrats promote radical propaganda designed to teach our youth and teach them thathates our country.

Every turn, Democrats and radical leftists attack our rights as they want to radically transform our country and destroy the American system. increase. They want to reduce the first amendment and abolish the second amendment. Democrats pack liberal judges into the Supreme Court, add two new left-hand states, give a permanent majority in the US Senate, and reform the way they elect a president to rebalance political power. I want to It's not difficult to understand why. Democrats do not trust Americans to rule themselves. Therefore, they promoted online censorship of dissenting opinions and set up an information committee run by faceless bureaucrats and so-called experts.

Republicans believe in America and its people. We believe inAmerican exceptionismand American dreams. We understand that Americans have done more to promote freedom and spread prosperity than any other country on the planet. Republicans know that Americans are generous, tolerant, selfish and optimistic. And while America isn't always perfect, Americans are always striving for a "more perfect coalition" in the immortal language of the Constitution.

If Americans choose to entrust the majority of the House of Representatives to the Republican Party, we are ready to protect old-fashioned American freedom and lead to restore American ideals. Is done. Last June, Republican leader Kevin McCarthy announced the formation of the Republican Task Force on the Future of American Freedom.

Last year, my colleagues and I should do what Congress can do to protect American freedom, restore American ideals, and maintain freedom for the next generation. I heard from Americans all over the country. Our task force is for rigorous fact-finding, including listening to citizens and stakeholders at 19 conferences and roundtables on topics ranging from the threat of cultural cancellation to the abuse of modern administrative states. I have been working on it.

Our fact-finding provided clarification about the specific actions that Congress can take to protect basic rights and freedoms. Republicans pass legislation to protect free online and free speech on university campuses and reaffirm the first amendment. We act to protect the right of the Second Amendment to possess American weapons. Republicans recognize that life is precious and pass the bill based on a recent Supreme Court ruling to protect the fetus. We protect the independence of the judiciary, refuse to call on the Democratic Party to dismiss the Supreme Court, and act to curb uncontrolled administrative conditions. Republicans act swiftly to reaffirm their basic right to raise children as parents deem appropriate, and Republicans prioritize school choices.

We fight back against President Joe Byden's anti-parents agenda and his administration's targeting parents to speak on the school's board of directors. The Republican Party will hold the Biden Justice Department and the FBI accountable, revealing that party actors have abused federal law enforcement authorities to harass political opponents and spy on American citizens. Americans, we You should always keep in mind that a country is special. As Ronald Reagan famously said, it is a "shining city on a hill." What makes America unique is also what makes it wonderful. It is our inviolable rights and fundamental freedoms embodied in our founding document. When entrusted with reign, the Republican Party defends our freedom and always works to keep America the greatest country in the history of the world.
