Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis conveyed the city’s excitement, sharing, “This year’s World Cup has been among our nation’s most thrilling and uniting sporting events.
Alderman JP Smith, responsible for the City’s safety and security, provided reassurance by emphasising the significance of this moment for the country. He expressed the City’s happiness in helping set up these public viewing spaces for residents.
