Two men were killed in an apparent hit-and-run accident in Limpopo on Sunday.
According to ER24, the two men were killed on the R71 highway just outside Tzaneen.
TWO DECEASED FOUND LYING IN THE ROAD
ER24 and the provincial emergency services arrived at the scene around 04h10 on Sunday morning. They found a bakkie in the slow lane, said spokesperson Russel Meiring.

Two men were found lying ten metres away from the vehicle.
“Medics assessed the men and found that both had sustained numerous injuries and showed no signs of life.”

Unfortunately, nothing further could be done for them and they were declared dead, he said.
“The exact details surrounding this incident are unknown. Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.”
PASSENGERS FOUND SCATTERED ON THE ROAD IN KEMPTON PARK COLLISION
In Kempton Park however, at least eighteen people were injured when four cars collided on Sunday morning.
According to ER24, the incident happened on Zuurfontein and Oranjerivier Drive intersection.
ER24 and several other medical and emergency services arrived at the scene shortly after 08h00. They found a truck, taxi, a car and a motorbike in the middle of the intersection, Meiring said.

The patients were assessed and it was found that five people, including a child, were in a critical condition.
Thirteen others had sustained minor to moderate injuries.
“Paramedics treated the patients and provided the critically injured with advanced life support intervention. Once treated, the child and a woman were airlifted to a hospital by private medical helicopters.”
The remaining patients were transported to hospital by ambulance.
Details around the incident are not known and are being investigated by police.
TWO CRITICAL IN ROLL OVER IN KWAZULU-NATAL
Meanwhile, two people are hospitalised in a critical condition following a vehicle roll over in KwaZulu Natal.
Medi Response responded to the scene on Saturday evening on the N2 southbound highway in the Sibaya area.
“On arrival, it was established that a single vehicle had seemingly lost control, rolling several times. Two people were found to be in a critical condition and required immediate medical intervention.”

One of the two injured patients was presumably not wearing a seatbelt as they were found around 50 metres from the vehicle, down an embankment.

The patients were treated and taken to hospital for further care.
