Brac Bank, Stamford University sign MoU

Brac Bank recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Stamford University Bangladesh to augment transactional banking services.

Under this MoU, the bank will offer diverse transactional banking services to students and faculty members of the university, fortifying the latter's mission to deliver quality education while modernising financial transactions.

Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, deputy managing director and head of corporate banking of the bank, and Muhammad Abdul Matin, registrar of the university, inked an MoU in this regard at the university's Siddheshwari campus in Dhaka, said a press release.

Among others, Prof Moniruzzaman, vice-chancellor of the university, Prof Md Younus Mia, pro vice-chancellor, Rumana Haque Rita and Farahnaaz Feroz, members of the board of trustees, and Jabedul Alam, head of transaction banking of the bank, Mohammad Arif Chowdhury, unit head of transaction banking, and Imtiaz Ahmed, head of alternate delivery channel, were present.

Brac Bank also inaugurated a real-time cash deposit machine at the university's Siddheshwari campus.
