Unidentified criminals hacked a youth to death in broad daylight at Dakkhin Jamshing area in Savar today.
The deceased was identified as Md Milon, 20, son of Fazlul Haque of the area, reports our Savar Correspondent quoting police.
Saiful Islam, inspector (Investigation) of Savar Model Police Station said, the incident took place around 12:00pm today while Milon was working at his leased land beside his house.
On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body and sent it to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
Several injury marks were found on his body, the inspector said.
He said Milon was an accused in a murder case, and they are investigating the incident keeping all aspects in mind.
"Process to file a case in underway," Saiful said.
