DEATH NOTICE
Kenneth Vivian Robert Lam
October 02, 1941 – January 22, 2023
It is with great sadness that the family of Kenneth Vivian Robert Lam announces his passing after a short illness, on Sunday, 22nd January 2023 at the age of 81 years.
He was a brilliant architect, responsible for many buildings in Nassau and the Family Islands.
Ken was the much-loved husband of Cheryl, father of Christopher and Margaret and a big brother to his six siblings.
He was born in Georgetown, Guyana on 2nd October 1941. He moved to Oxford, England where he gained an architectural degree, completing his practice term in London.
After completing his degree, he settled in Bahamas eventually setting up his own architectural practice.
He became an active member of the West Nassau Rotary club, volunteering his architectural expertise, fund raising or serving in a soup kitchen.
He was known for his quick wit, kindness and compassionate spirit.
