Two suspects are in custody after a call about a possible kidnapping led to a car chase.
The St. Paul RCMP responded to a call from his Nation of Saddle Lake Cree shortly before 7:30 am on Monday morning. Police said the two suspects, a man and a woman, fled in a red pickup truck.

RCMP Alberta said they believed the suspect was "armed and dangerous".
The Smokey Lake RCMP is tracking a red/maroon 1997 Dodge single cab pickup truck, license plate CLJ-7903, northeast of the#SmokeyLake area. #Redwater.The two suspects in the vehicle are believed to be armed and dangerous. If you see him, stay away and call 911.

They found the truck at Smokey Lake and subsequently detained the suspect.
The RCMP confirmed to Global News that the suspect had no third party at the time of his arrest.
