Candidates running for Hamilton City Council in October's local elections do not have a clear path to victory.
All 15 wards of the city have at least one challenger at Friday's entry deadline for candidates.
As of Wednesday, August 17, 170 more than 100,000 individuals have registered to participate in the Oct. 24 elections, and 68 candidates have signed up to speak at the council.
