The Los Angeles Angels officially recalled left-handed Jose Suarez from Triple A Salt Lake on Sunday.

The expected move will take place the day after the right-handed relief Janson Junk is selected for Salt Lake.

Suarez was supposed to start the series finale on Sunday for the Seattle Mariners he visited, but the Angels instead named right-handed relief player Andrew Wantz as a starter.

Wants is expected to be in the opening round ahead of Suarez, who wins most of the innings.

Suarez (24 years old) is 0-2 and has recorded 5.00 ERA in 7 appearances (6 starts) this season. In the last four seasons with the Angels, he has scored 5.61 ERA in 51 appearances (37 starts) with 10-18.
