Vancouver police shoot armed suspect after shooting on Granville Strip: VPD

Armed suspects shot by Vancouver police, number A person was seriously injured after a violent incident on the Granville Strip on Saturday night while in the hospital.

The shooting occurred in 900 blocks of Granville near the Roxy nightclub.

Club management posted a notice on social media that the incident occurred at a nearby company and did not involve Roxy staff or patrons. Nevertheless, the club will be closed on Sunday night.

Regular customers praised Roxy's staff for successfully taking everyone out after the violence broke out.

Vancouver police said, "Several people have been hospitalized with serious injuries, including an armed suspect shot by a VPD officer ...
