Bomb threat leads to evacuation of Royal Vale School in N.D.G.

Administration to provide parents with an update Thursday night.

Students at Royal Vale School in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce were ushered out of their building Thursday after someone called in a bomb threat.

The school building on Somerled Ave. was evacuated while police investigated the incident.

Police did a sweep of the school, but found nothing suspicious, Montreal police say.

Students in the elementary school were taken to nearby Willingdon School, where they will be collected by their parents.

High school students were allowed to return home.

Parents were notified of the incident in an email.

The administration will provide parents with an update Thursday night.
