Buccaneers offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs suffered a visible injury to his core muscle during a practice session with the Tennessee Titans on Thursday, the Tampa Bay Times reported.
Wirfs was cleared from the field after a pass his rush his drill. The severity of his injury was not immediately apparent.
The 23-year-old Wirfs started at right tackle in all of his 33 games in his first two of his seasons. His first-round pick in 2020, he was named a first-team All-Pro in 2021.
The Bucks are without his Pro Bowl center Ryan Jensen with a left knee injury.
Jensen, 31, was named to his first Pro Bowl last season after appearing in all 17 of his games with the Bucks. He hasn't missed a start since the 2016 season.
He was a regular with the Baltimore Ravens (2014-17) and the Buccaneers.He appeared in 100 games (90 starts) and 7 playoff games (6 starts) on the season. Baltimore drafted him in the 6th round of the 2013 draft and won the Super Bowl championship in Tampa Bay.
