SOFIA — Bulgarian lawmakers issued a green light to the government on Friday to approve the framework for negotiations to join the European Union in North Macedonia. This is a move to allow neighboring countries to initiate accession negotiations with Brock.
Legislators guarantee the rights of Bulgarians in North Macedonia and follow the fine-tuning of the framework text to commit Skopje to the framework imposed in 2020 over history and language disputes. I voted to lift the veto to the government to maintain a good relationship with Sophia. (Report by Tsvetelia Tsolova, Written by Alan Charlish, Edited by Mark Heinrich)
