The bus was carrying tourists returning to Romania from a trip to Istanbul when it struck a car parked on the side of the highway connecting Veliko Tarnovo, the central city of Bulgaria, and the port of the Danube in Ruse. local police said.

After being hit by a car, the bus crashed into a tree. Three died on the spot, and a fourth later died from his injuries.
