Canada takes on Morocco in its final group stage game of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. While Canada has been eliminated from the tournament after losing its first two games, the team is looking for its first ever World Cup points while the Africans need just a point to seal their spot in the next round.

Canada fell behind early after a poor clearance from goalkeeper Milan Borjan went right to a Hakim Ziyech, who buried it in the gaping net in the fourth minute.

Youssef En-Nesyri would score a second goal for Morocco in the 23rd minute to double the advantage.

In the 40th minute, Canada gets on the board after a Sam Adekugbe attempt is deflected by Morocco’s Nayef Aguerd into his own net.
