‘Check-in online’: Toronto’s Pearson Airport warns travellers of Air Canada outage

Toronto’s Pearson International Airport is warning travellers of an Air Canada outage that is impacting some operations.

In a tweet just after 1:30 p.m., the airport said Air Canada is “experiencing an intranet outage” that is impacting functions including check-in, baggage delivery and gating.

“The airline is working hard to resolve the issue,” the tweet read. “Air Canada passengers are encouraged to check in online before leaving the airport.”

Air Canada said it was experiencing an “IT issue” affecting check-in at the airport, saying customers should check-in through the mobile app or online before heading to Toronto Pearson.
